The Steering Committee acts as an advisory body to the Deputy Health Ministers to facilitate the provision of high quality care to children with heart disease in Canada.  This committee is comprised of representatives from the departments of Health and participating health authorities.  The frontline staff (members of the Clinical Operations Committee) provides the members with regular status reports regarding care and services.
