The WCCHN provides treatment decisions that are made with the input of clinicians from all sites. Standardized diagnostic, investigational, and referral protocols are used, and detailed case conferencing and electronic transmission of diagnostic imaging results are shared.
Front line medical staff also meet regularly, in person and via telephone, to address any service delivery issues that might arise, and to continually improve results.
To enhance our level of service, a network wide quality and outcome review process is also in place, through which the WCCHN's outcomes are compared to those of other North American centres.
